Pyrex lovers are out there...they collect, hunt down and display their favorite pieces... Pyrex Percolators were the standard in the 60's and make a darn good cup of coffee. Citrus colors in Pyrex can sometimes fade with age or scratch..these are remarkably fresh. Happy Polka Dots Start your collection with your favorite colors.
Do you collect Pyrex or just use it..I kinda do both...I serve in it and prepare...is that alright?... and do you need to hand wash Pyrex? Collectors out there would you help me? I've always tried to incorporate unique tools into my kitchen...Sure I could use a "brand spanking new" gadget from the store...or I could find a vintage piece that just works great and lends a beautiful aesthetic to my home. Brass Corkscrew made in Italy and monogrammed in an elegant script. A Vintage Brass Greek Pepper Mill There's nothing like the chippy ice you get from this vintage ice tray! A vintage porcelain gravy separator made in France...make the most mundane task seem special.
Are you hunting for a special kitchen gadget or tool? Let me know and so I can keep my eye out for you! Next week I will be going on a shopping trip through the mountains of West Virginia..I'll be sure to find lots of goodies and pics to share with you! Camille |
